LOCATION AND PARKING
Uckfield Rugby Club is located at Hempstead Playing Fields, Uckfield, TN22 1LX.
As at many festivals, parking is very difficult at Uckfield. We are expecting 950 players to this year’s festival which makes it the biggest yet – so please strongly encourage car sharing wherever possible.
Parking options will be as follows:
- Sussex Horse Rescue Trust, Hempstead Farm, Hempstead Lane, Uckfield, TN22 3DL. 5 minutes walk.
- Manor Park Primary school, Downsview Crescent Uckfield East Sussex TN22 1UB 5 minutes walk.
- Luxford Fields. 1, Luxford Close, Uckfield TN22 1AL15 minutes walk
We will have parking marshals out and about to direct traffic to the parking at Sussex Horse rescue and Manor Park school. Parking here will cost £3.
Luxford Fields is a large free public car park in the centre of Uckfield.
Please note our parking marshals will be preventing people from parking too close to the rugby club as access needs to be kept throughout the estate for residents, emergency vehicles, and buses. Please do advise your parents, coaches and supporters accordingly as local police will tow away any vehicles causing an obstruction.
Team coaches can drop kit bags, gazebos etc, to the gate of the Club Entrance to save having to carry heavy items any great distance.
There are a couple of “Blue Badge” spaces available, if you wish to take advantage of this facility please e mail me the make, model and registration number of your designated car so I can let our parking marshals know.
