We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Volunteer Bar Staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, meet new people, and contribute to our enthusiastic community. No prior experience is necessary, as we provide all the training you’ll need!
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve drinks to customers efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Handle cash and card transactions (training provided).
- Restock supplies and assist in inventory management.
- Adhere to health and safety standards.
Skills and Qualities We’re Looking For:
- A positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills.
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Experience using Square POS systems is a bonus, but not required.

Typical Shifts
Shifts centre around Senior matches and Juniors rugby training (when training is at the club). The shifts would range from between 2-3 hours for a Juniors day, to 3-4 hours for a Seniors Match day.
The roles/responsibilities one might expect to undertake at these times are:
Cabin:
- Pre/During Match: Serve beverages and snacks.
- Post-Match: Tidy the cabin and lock-up.
Clubhouse:
- Pre-Match: Open clubhouse, prepare for spectators, ensure food and beverage are ready.
- During Match: Manage hospitality, ensure safety and smooth operations, assist spectators. Prepare player’s post-match food.
- Post-Match: Clean up bar/kitchen, resetting for future events, locking-up. Player’s are expected to tidy changing rooms for Senior matches. Parents/Coaches of both teams are expected to help with clean-up for junior fixtures.
